Robert. Partner 9:21 AM
That force majeure clause is a deal-breaker as written. Sarah, ask them to revise § 14.2 to include regulatory action, and add the Prompt Pay clause to § 8.1. I'll review after those two are addressed
The paralegal runs the triage. The partner reviews the flags. not the 34-page agreement

What Changes
The math of
senior attorney time.
Before
Partner reviews every contract. GREEN and RED alike
A 40-page supply agreement takes 2–3 hours of partner time. Most of it is reading clauses that are fine. The two clauses that matter are buried in the middle of section 14
After
Partner reviews the three flagged items. 20 minutes
Triage runs in seconds. Partner sees three flags, reads the flagged clauses and the citation behind each, makes three decisions. The other 31 clauses are confirmed clean by the indexed corpus. not by a gut feeling. The partner bills the same rate for 20 minutes of decision work instead of 3 hours of reading
Scale
A firm that triages 10 contracts a week recovers 20+ partner hours monthly
At $500/hour, that's $10,000/month in senior attorney capacity redirected from reading to deciding. Or it's 20 more hours of business development, client work, or simply time back. Either way, the math is not subtle
